Volvo Fuel Cell Technology Creates 100 New Jobs

Volvo is shifting into high gear for their fuel cell technology venture, possibly creating additional jobs in Stockholm if everything goes according to plan. Rocket Launches New US Moon Probes

This story was updated at 6:35 p.m. EDT. NASA's first moon mission in more than a decade blasted off Thursday, launching two unmanned probes to hunt for water ice and map the lunar surface. The two new probes – a powerful lunar orbiter and a smaller craft destined to crash into the moon's south pole – atop an Atlas 5 rocket that lifted off from the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida. Their launch comes nearly 40 years after the Apollo astronauts first set foot on the moon in July 1969.

Here comes a new, lightweight, hydrogen-powered car that can attain speeds of up to 50 mph. The Riversimple Urban Car is a British two-seater that can travel a distance of up to 240 miles without re-fueling. Hear! Hear! Environmentalists, stop cribbing about that pollution and all that jazz. Riversimple, London based company has launched Riversimple Urban Car (RUC), a real hydrogen powered city car to beat pollution blues.
